Karen and I are in a no-risk mode of shelter in place, and I could not forgive myself if I brought the virus home to her. She is very fearful of catching it, even though the risk is not too high, and I have to act accordingly.
>>
>> Your idea of a Cop-19 fund to help impacted people with linked fund raising is very good. Pehaps after the meeting if all goes well we could put something in the paper about it. We need to know more about testing--is it readily available and what does it cost? Are the poor and homeless able to be tested? We might support testing or transport to testing if that is a problem, sidewalk doctors, food, masks, transport. John, Donna and Mike need to weigh in on this. Perhaps Annie Liner too. If we all kick in $20 for each lunch we miss, and say 10 persons do it each week, we should be able to make close to $1,000 a month. Oh well I may be dreaming. Need to advise people to send their contribution to the club at PO Box 102 Mendocino 95460.
>>
>> Instead of a meeting in the Park I suggest we have a Zoom meeting and build on that for as long as the shelter in place order is on.
