[Kzyxtalk] Clarification from Ellen Saxe

Twice recently, during the on air Candidates Forum and in a post yesterday, Dennis OBrien has referred to a phone conversation the two of us had several weeks ago. I contacted him because in his list of changes he hoped to see at KZYX there were inaccuracies about the PAC and the CAB, two boards I have served on. We also had an informal chat about what it takes to get changes from the idea stage to implementation, as well as the challenges of working on a volunteer board with people who are busy,far flung, and coming from different backgrounds and experience.	
Unfortunately, Dennis did not publicly correct his errors  about the CAB and the PAC, but did choose to use my other comments to support his negative feelings about the structure of KZYX . I do not hold these negative feelings. My goal as a CAB member is to continue to facilitate communication between the community and the board of KZYX. I do not feel, that in this capacity, it is appropriate for me to comment on my preferences in a KZYX board election, but I do support the course KZYX is on now. It took a long time for the station to reinstate the local news which the majority of members asked for, but for me the quality makes it worth the wait. I feel similarly about the CAB News of the Station proposal, which Dennis misunderstands, and which anyone can read on the KZYX website.  Thanks, Ellen Saxe
