My thanks to Ellen for continuing the conversation.  It is true that I did not include all of her perspective in my proposals, and I am glad she has filled in the gaps.  She has put a lot of time and effort into supporting the station and engaging with the community.
But the things I did report I reported accurately.  The PAC has not met for at least two years, and rarely before.  The CAB has had limited meetings, none open to the public in two years.  Its one recommendation, that the board/management have a monthly News of the Station show, had only one session.  If I am incorrect on any of that, I am willing to be educated and will apologize.
As for the difficulty finding volunteers to serve on committees and advisory boards, I perceive two factors that have made it more difficult.  First, it appears that the board and management only want people with whom they share the same opinion.  Second, they do not use an email list to reach out to the members to invite participation.  I am certain that there are enough people who want to serve on such boards/committees that we could find a diversity of both geography and opinions.

Again, I apologize if anything I reported as fact is not so.  But I believe in this matter I am just drawing different conclusions from the same facts.  And that is something that good people do when sorting things out.
