[Rotary] ✨ Mendocino Rotary Club Meeting @ Thursday, October 24th

Hello Mendocino Rotarians,

Our regular meeting of the Mendocino Rotary will be held this Thursday,
October 24th at 12pm in Preston Hall. This has been a very busy month for
Rotary with the wrapping up of both the Dining Raffle and our annual Golf
Tournament. I have been so grateful and inspired during this time to watch
our members come together, move mountains, pitch in and MAKE MAGIC
HAPPEN. ✨

THANK YOU! to all that really made both of these events a great success. I
would like to extend a very special *thank you* to Cathy Karabensh for the
generous golf sponsorship, the donation to our live auction, and the
wonderful raffle prizes. Also to Rick and LaDonna McDonald for their
sponsorship to the golf tournament and the donation of their beautiful
vacation property to our live auction. The addition of the live auction was
a lot of fun and Tom Allman's auctioneer skills really added a great energy
to the day 🎉. Because of Gary Hopper's leadership, these donations, and
the contributions of all of our members this year's Golf Tournament
exceeded expectations!!... I must also mention the beautiful charcuterie
table that Grace Hendricks created which raised the bar and has been the
talk of the tournament for the past few years.

Thanks to Jeff Stubbs, this Thursday we have Howard Dashiel coming to speak
at our Rotary meeting. Howard is the Director of the Mendocino County
Department of Transportation. He is coming to share the state of Mendocino
County roads along the coast. This will be a great meeting to tell your
neighbors and friends to attend. This will be an opportunity to ask
questions and to hear about the condition and repair plans of our County
roads. I look forward to seeing you there! Please see the attached agenda.
