[Rotary] Subject: Beacon Press Release

Dear All,
What a weekend it has been. Kudos to President Margaret, Ray and Gary for pulling the Fourth of July celebration in the Park together, Ex-President Toby for spending the day with us promoting our club and selling raffle tickets despite wife Leona recovering in hospital in Willits, the band for their excellent music and all the club members and others who helped put up the flags, setup and man the various stations and cleaning up afterwards. It was nice to have Kathy Karabensh helping out, and a great day for our club and our community.
To top all off, we got another press release in the Beacon, this time  on the Town Forum we held with Paul Garza of the Mendocino Coast Health Care District.  Our piece was on the second page of the Beacon, and lent a sense of positive movement forward to a headline piece on the findings of the Grand Jury about the District Board. I hope you will all read it, and attach a copy of the article for that purpose.
