Hello Mendo Rotary,

Yesterday's 4th Of July celebration in Rotary Park was a GREAT SUCCESS!!
Quite a buzz was created. I am still hearing from visitors and community
members about what a great celebration it was and how much it was
appreciated that we held our "second annual" gathering there during and
after the Parade... followed by many sentiments of "thanks". This is so
important for us to know and I also would like to extend my THANKS and
appreciation to everyone that went above and beyond. Our Rotary shows up
and has shown our community and visitors who we are and what we do! ✨

A BIG THANK YOU to you all. A special *"SHOUT OUT" t*o Gary Hopper for
coordinating this event, to Jeff Stubbs for coordinating the band and his
$100 donation (among several other things, pop ups, flags, etc), and to
EVERYONE that showed up and went above and beyond.

Your input, suggestions, and recommendations regarding this event and how
we can keep improving moving forward are invaluable. Attached are some
photos I took at the park. These make me smile every time I go through
them. Please be sure to share any pics you may have.
