 Hello Fellow Rotarians and Community Service Board Members,
Engel & Völkers is having their annual fundraising event. The event is "60 Minutes For Special Olympics".  E&V shops across the Americas spend 60 minutes the weekend of October 13th engaged in any form of exercise- cycling, yoga, swimming, walking, running, etc - to support the cause. With a goal of raising $125,000 this year for the Special Olympics. 
On Friday, October 13th, Engel & Völkers Mendocino is partnering with Parents & Friends for a joint fundraiser for both organizations. As you know, Parents and Friends, Inc. is our local non-profit and has served people with developmental disabilities for over 60 years. 
Our "60 Minutes For Special Olympics" activity will be a dance party at The Caspar Community Center featuring The Mighty T-Bones. Please see the attached flyer. All proceeds from this event will be split with Parents & Friends. In addition, Parents & Friends will be hosting a beer and wine bar during the event (soda will also be available). All proceeds from the beer and wine bar will go directly to Parents & Friends. 
The reason I am reaching out is to see if the Mendocino Rotary can help provide Parents & Friends with some beer, wine, or soda for this event. Does anyone have a connection for donations? Any assistance from the Rotary would be recognized at the event. Rotary signage would be printed and up on display at the bar as well as the Mendo Rotary being mentioned in digital media.

Please let me know your thoughts and the correct processes to follow. This event could fall under the "Community Services" umbrella but is coming up quickly and I don't know if we will have time for a meeting before the event. It took some time to get all of the details ironed out so I apologize for the short notice.
