[Rotary] Sunday 5/14 in the Park -11:00

Good morning! Happy mothers day to all you moms!

If you can, please join Susanne, Carsten and I in the park at 11:00 if you
are ready to dig, plant, and mulch the Japanese Sister City Section of
Rotary park, which as you may know is the SE quadrant and adjacent to the
farmers market at Main and Howard streets.

Susanne and Carsten watched enthusiastically from a distance in Germany
during the pandemic when the Mendocino High School students presented the
park landscaping plans via Zoom, including this Sister City section.
Planting today for the future is a dream come true for Susanne. These are
long term plantings that will continue to provide soil conservation,
pollinator food and habit.

Sorry for short term notice, Susanne is here for a short while, and I just
wrapped up a semester at grad school. Yesterday was a quick shopping blitz
at Hare Creek Nursery.

Our wish list:

   - Strong backs and hands to join us. Bring your gloves, we have tools!
   - Large rocks
