Matt,You are incorrect in saying "many Rotarians scoffed" at the idea of a fundraising letter in memory of John.It was actually heavily endorsed with the caveat that Janis approve of it. It was even suggested that we ask Janis to either co-write or approve the wording if she wanted.I can't remember if it was you, Toby or Jeff that volunteered to follow up.I am so glad Janis likes the idea! And yes John would be thrilled! The only big question now is who is going to write the letter?Does Janice or anyone have a copy of John's donation request letters?Maybe a couple Rotarians can come up with some quality verbiage?Definitely put it on either the next Club or Board agenda to work out the details. And thanks for discussing this with Janis!Best,Ray AlarconAlarcon Ins AgencyPO Box 2539Mendocino, CA 95460707-937-5050CA Lic#0B68172

Can we follow his lead ? Many  of you refused to honor his legacy , and I honor your opinions , but this once , let’s try and raise about our petty differences and rally around a deceased Rotarian , and build on his legacy. Are any of you able to respond to this email , with a vote of confidence and encouragement? Matt in our service of rotary park and rotary international .707 813 77477 am to 7 pm . Maintenance Matters._______________________________________________Rotary mailing listRotary at lists.mcn.orghttp://lists.mcn.org/mailman/listinfo/rotary
