[Rotary] John Porter fund raiser ,

Hello Happy Dollar Rotarians .

I spoke with Janis Porter tonight , at the music festival .

She has approved of the John Porter memorial letter .

You may have forgotten about John Porter , but he was a Rotarian in Mendocino, for many years ,  and  was an excellent , fund raiser .

I have suggest we send out a memoir letter , asking for donations , in john’s name .

Many rotarians  , have scoffed at this idea…

But as Janis , said tonight , JOHN  was not shy , at asking for donations to help the less fortunate. Can we follow his lead ? 

Many  of you refused to honor his legacy , and I honor your opinions , but this once , let’s try and raise about our petty differences and rally around a deceased Rotarian , and build on his legacy.
