[Rotary] Rotary dues

At our club meeting last Thursday, we announced that the end of the Rotary half-year, December 31, is fast approaching, and many of our members have not paid their dues.     
We are liable to pay Rotary International an amount of $240 per regular member on the first day of each new half-year based upon the number of members recorded in the MyRotary list of members on the last day of the previous half-year, which in this case is December 31,2022.
To avoid the club being liable for overpayments to Rotary International, we ask all members to pay their dues now. Please send your check, marked 2022-23 dues, to our Mendocino P.O. Box 102, drop them by Brandt's office or bring them to our next club meeting. 
If you are in a place where you cannot pay your dues, but wish to remain with the club, or if you do not wish to remain with the club, please let Brandt and/or I know. 
As you can see, only 7 of our 23 regular members have paid their dues this far.   We will close the list of members following our last meeting of the year, which will probably be December 15. 
Sorry to announce this, but if you do not pay your dues you will be dropped from the club.

The MyRotary list of members is up to date. John Porter and others such as Roccie Hill who have withdrawn from the club have been deleted. However, we need to work together to update the MyRotary list as of Dec 31 which will be the basis for our billing from MyRotary for the second half of the Rotary year ( Jan 2022-June 2023). 

  

To facilitate early Board consideration of this matter I suggest you send an e-mail to the Board before the next Board meeting, which will be on October 27, listing who has paid and what action has been taken with non payers. When the Board have that information  the club can take action with regard to those who have not paid and I can update the MyRotary list.
