Dear Rotarians and Friends,
Yesterday provided a good test of the drainage surrounding our Rotary Park.
At about 12:00 the drainage pipe under Main Street, which was partially blocked, backed up and caused substantial flooding.
However, a County workforce cleared the outlet of the pipe and put out a "flooded" warning for motorists. 
By 1:30 the flooding was eliminated.
Kudos to Mendocino County DOT for being on the job, and to Mendocino Rotary for focussing attention on the drain which protects the park.
