[Rotary] Subject: Rotary: Meetings going Forward

Hi all,
We had a good meeting yesterday, by zoom, and hopefully that will be the last zoom meeting of the year. Thirteen Rotarians attended, and David Latoof gave a talk on the fire risk in our area as well and changes going on in the fire department.
Next Thursday, May 27, we will meet outside at my house, weather permitting, and talk about social events and fund raisers for next year. We will order pizza as we did at for our meetings at Susan's and Deans'. The address is 12101 Alderwood Rd, Mendocino 95460. It is in Old Surfwood.
The following Thursday, June 3, we will meet inside at Mendocino Cafe and continue to meet there as long as possible. We will require all attendees to be vaccinated.
This will be a no-speaker month to give us time to re-imagine who we are, where we are going and how we will get there.
Lots of good things happened last week. Amongst others, the Mendocinorotary.org website donation link is working thanks to Jesse so please feel free to use it for your happy dollars, etc. 
The pandemic golf tournament is progressing, with three teams. We are going to extend the last day of play to June 15 to allow all teams to play three 18-hole rounds, needed to compete for the overall average prize. 
The shed is beautiful and soon will have power, World Bee Day in the Park was a great success, we awarded 3 scholarships to high school students, and we are sending today $1950 to Vanuatu for the school and $1650 to Fiji for cyclone relief.
Mike is putting together an order of coffee cups, T-shirts, name badges and other Rotary paraphernalia. If you need something, please let him know. 
Next week we will begin planning for next year, under Toby as Prez, it will be an important meeting, so join us if you can.  
Please give some thought as to which committees you would like to be on. 
We will have a new lineup, but in the meantime our current organization chart is attached to aid you in thinking about where and how you would like to help the club.
