[Rotary] Subject: Mendocino Rotary: Meeting of Thursday June 17

Hi all, 
We will meet in Mendocino Cafe dining room on Thursday for what may be our last substantive meeting of the year. Last week we made great progress in defining the year ahead, with several projects and fund raisers identified, as well as a committment to identify and invite new members. We still need to identify a President-elect and Nominee for next year, and appoint or re-appoint a Secretary and working group heads. We can discuss at our meeting. 
Importantly, however, lets all think how we would re-imagine our club, and how we can accomplish the real change that we need to enable it to reach out and grow.
Agenda: 
1. Open, normal ritual, fines, happy dollars, quiz2. Growing our club: what directions should we take, how do we do it? -The process involved-Getting people interested, getting our name out there-Addressing constraints; more variety in meeting times, new categories of membership, a membership working group?-The importance of social events        A community event in the Park (Labor Day, after the golf tournament?)        A bicycle ride or walkathon (when?)        Other events in the Park        Other suggestions/ideas 3. Followup on decisions taken at our last meeting     -Annual Golf Tournament    -Dining Out raffle    -Music Night4. Projects:     -Community Center    -Grammar School     -International    -Pandemic, Other?5. District Grant Application6. Selection of Officers and Working Group Heads7. Current Events:    -Pandemic Golf Tournament    -Hospital 50th celebration on June 27th    -Fourth of July8. Awards Night and Debunking on June 24th, Venue tbd.9. Close
