[Rotary] SUBJECT: COVID 19 TEST

Good morning,

Jeff, I am sorry to hear of your positive test, and hope you remain
asymptomatic and with minor symptoms. Please let me know if you need
answers. As club members will recall, I stated in our meeting that Public
Health does not contact trace with the Abbot (rapid test). It is important
that you follow up with a PCR test to confirm, so that Public Health can
call you to complete a case investigation and contact trace.

Jerry, a test should be taken 3-5 days after close contact with a case.
Close contact is within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more. Annie's email

Even before receiving this email I had downloaded the most recent health
orders that give the correct information, as I heard the concern during our
meeting that a refresher was needed. I am both attaching and giving the

Pay attention to #3 in the quarantine order for fully vaccinated persons.

Another thing I garnered from the order is that we verify that all
attending our meetings are fully vaccinated (including guests).  Are we
doing this? I confirmed that we are to wear masks indoors unless actively
eating or drinking. As you can see from the county data, our case rates are
low, but with travel out of town and holiday gatherings occurring, we are
putting ourselves at risk if we let our guard down now. Fingers crossed
that the only case in our meeting was Jeff.

Mendocino Coast Clinics is holding a vaccination clinic for children ages
5-11 today (Saturday), please get the word out, and encourage everyone to
get their booster ASAP.
