[Rotary] Subject: Winter Clothing Drive Underway!!

Dear Rotarians,
This is to confirm that we will be collecting warm and waterproof winter clothing for donation to the Coastal Street Medicine Program today, following our club meeting. Please clean out your drawers and closets and let's all do what we can to help keep persons in need stay well this winter.
John and I will be working in the park tomorrow (Friday) morning at 9:00. Please join us if you would like to help out.
Please come to our meeting today with ideas/suggestions for what we could do as a club to celebrate the holidays. In previous years we have done caroling in the park. I am not sure whether that is "on" this year with the pandemic still ongoing, but I personally hope it will be possible.
We have an important and interesting speaker today, the County Superintendent of Schools. 
Please attend, in person if you can, otherwise by zoom.

In recent years we have collected used, warm or waterproof clothing from members' families and given them to the Sidewalk Medicine project. I suggest we do it again, with a progress report at our meeting on 2 December and collection of articles soon after. 
I will pick up the clothing from your place if necessary, or bring it to the Dec 2 meeting. Perhaps one person could help out in the northern area around Fort Bragg and I can do all from Caspar south.
I have not yet contacted the head of the project. Linda Jo Stearns has resigned, but I heard she was going to be replaced and assume they are still in operation.
Enjoy the holiday, and spend a few hours emptying the bureau drawers and closets. It will help make space for your new stuff.
