[Rotary] Subject: Membership Proposal for Scott Roat

Folks, 
Dean's observation is on the mark. 
Each and every member of the club should let the Board know if there is any objection to Scott. Toby is his sponsor and knows him as well as any of us. 
Pam has recused herself.
I am personally troubled by his lack of involvement in anything except zoom meetings. 
We should be a club that does, not just a club that provides. 
Anyone else??

 Dear Rotarians, 
The Board on its meeting of March 25 approved the candidacy of Scott Roat who has been informed of the purposes of Rotary and members' responsibilities, and who has prepared and signed the attached membership form. 
As representative of the Board, I am circulating the membership form to the members of Mendocino Rotary who have according to the bylaws of the club a period of seven days to submit a written objection. 
If no objection is received from our members Scott will be asked to pay the admission fee of $35.00 and shall be considered elected to membership.
Should you have any questions about Scott's admission, please direct them to Toby Wade, who is his sponsor, with a copy to myself, Mike Sandys and Harold Hauck.
