[Rotary] Fund raising 2020 Covid 19

Hello Old friends , Happy Week end !.........I am loving this rain .

We have a unique opportunity at our door steps , people are house bound and 
This is the time to send out a fund raising letter to our local community .

We just got some good press with our  2500.00 donation  to the Mendocino Community children’s fund .   We need to be proactive and it takes money to make money .....so if we have to stamps.....I say  , buy stamps and we can stuff envelops at home .

This letter I am proposing , could target our local needs , with fighting Covid 19.......Masks and gloves......

..We will have a new sign in the park next week , and the new signs , have a slot above the signs  , to install temporary notices .......the new signs are in my office now .........
The fund raising program could be accented on our new signs.



The  letter is another way for us to expand our presence In the community and ask for donations of 150.00 to support our’s efforts , and all that we do for the community ,
Scholarships , the park , events in the park and fighting Covid 19......

John Porter had a mailing list , but if that doesn’t pan out , I would like to suggest  we send out a blanket mailer to the Mendocino Area . 

Please , know i am trying to “ keep it alive “ ,  to keep changing with the times . As  A example , the zoom meeting last week was fun and productive .

We can fire 🔥 up some new ways of being..... this letter and signs in the park  and zoom meetings are three concrete ways of moving forward .

Please let me know your thoughts ...we can chat , the Thursday at noon , on the Zoom platform .
