Thank you Jeff, for the encouraging email and exemplary leadership, which
brought us successfully to the midway point in our club’s year.
Our club has shown resilience and adaptability, and we have had camaraderie
and fun meetings with many excellent guests.
Winning the raffle was a welcome surprise for our son Monty (Monterey).
He’s now the best friend of his two siblings :-)
Sadly, Monty's close friend and housemate died unexpectedly in August. He
and the other housemate had to move from their home in Caspar on December
1sr. The landlord is moving his sister in, who is relocating to our area.
Legally, Monty could have stayed, but he decided to move out with a good
reference.
As everyone knows, the rental market is even tighter than it was, due to
the pandemic and many people moving here.
Monty is living in an off grid cabin inland while he looks for a 1 bedroom
place on the coast, ideally from Cleone to Little River. He is a carpenter
and can afford $900-1,100 month, but will consider a two bedroom rental.
Please let us know of any leads on rentals!
Wishing you all a healthy and happy holiday!
Thank you,
Donna
