[John Cottle]

Sorry but this is a sad one for Fort Bragg Rotary. Tom Mitchell just passed
away at our hospital, peacefully with his wife at his bedside.  It appeared
that he had a major stroke a day or two ago.

It was a privilege to get to know him years ago in better times.  Towards
the end his memory was severely impaired, but his jovial, joking manner
never left him.  I shall always remember him with a smile and a twinkle in
his eye.
