[Rotary] Subject: Rotary: International Service Projects

Dear All,
Attached below is a proposal for the International Service Project for Vanuatu for this year, as submitted for our last Board meeting. At that time I costed out the project for a club contribution of $1,800, which should be increased to $2,800 for Fiji and Vanuatu combined. Harold had proposed a cultural exchange item for $300, which makes the total for international for this year $3,100, which is about the five year annual average for the service.
Vanuatu and Fiji have been hit very hard, harder than we, by the economic slowdown in tourism and business caused by the virus. The Victory School of Hope, Port Vila Rotary, Savusavu Rotary and Katikati Rotary remain excellent partners. The School is going ahead gangbusters with their boundary fence, Katikati has contributed $3,200 and we will if this proposal is accepted contribute $2,300. 
So far, only International Service has provided the Board with a written proposal. It should be rewarded.
Mindy, if Fort Bragg wants to partner with us, as you did last year, it would be welcome. There is lots to be done.
