[Rotary] Sherwood Oaks Update

It was about time for some good news, right?

More good news from the vaccine world: though antibody levels to
Coronaviruses don't last more than several months, our T-lymphocytes keep
the target in memory and quickly resume antibody production when
re-exposed.

In my opinion if we continue using masks as advised, we will have a light
flu season. IF the majority of us get flu shots, we might not have one at
all!
Interestingly since we closed Sherwood Oaks to visitors and pushed all
staff to use masks back in March, our "usual" infection rate dropped
dramatically.
Our recent success in stopping the in house spread of Corona is largely due
to dramatically improved mask compliance. As we see out in public, it is
impossible to keep compliance at 100%, but the more of us that do, the less
disease spread we will see.
