[Rotary] COVID money

 Jeff, Board & fellow Mendo Rotarians,After our brief discussion about the Mendo School District request for money to help low income students with tools for the continued distance learning scenario a couple of questions came to mind. I have been watching Bay Area news and many school districts there are supplying their students with laptops and helping create wi-fi hot spots so they can get online.What is our school district doing along these lines and specifically how are they envisioning a grant from us being utilized?I feel strongly against us paying 100% of any costs. The district should be (maybe even required?) to be giving the tools needed to learn to their students.If they are not getting full funding from the State or Feds than helping fill the gap is something we can consider.Also what was the response from MUSE regarding helping to pay for this?Ray AlarconAlarcon Ins AgencyPO Box 2539Mendocino, CA 95460707-937-5050CA Lic#0B68172
