I strongly support John's idea of renovations for the playground at the Mendocino Community Center.  I think that this playground is important to the children of the community and their parents and deserves our support.  Not only is it a benefit to the community but the playground is located in a quiet, safe area of town with very little vehicle traffic.  I hope that we will give this consideration as the facility is certainly in need of financial assistance.

John,

Thanks for reaching out for the Bishoff grant.

I am not in favor of spending all the money.on the playground at the
Community Center.  I am in favor of reaching out to a number of
non-profits and meet their individual needs.

Some of it could also go to pay for the park's play or bike rack needs.
