[Rotary] Scholarships and Youth Service

Dear Rotarians,
It is that time of year again to read scholarship applications, meet and
discuss, winnow the field, hold interviews, and award graduating seniors.
Phase one is meeting for about 5 minutes to go over the timeline. We can do
that this Thursday at the park, and I will hand you about ten applications
to bring home to read.

Scholarship awards night at the high school is May 31st. I want the
scholarship selection complete by May 12th.

If you have never done this before and are even slightly curious, we invite
you to join us! It will give you insight into the lives of our local youth,
and give meaning to why we work so hard on our fundraisers. Once I know who
is specifically in for the reading and selecting this year, I will email
only the group reading and deciding.
