Subject: Memo of the Air: Good Night Radio all night tonight!

Tonight, Friday March 20, I'm reading the show by live remote from
Juanita's apartment, /not/ from the back room of the KNYO performance
space at 325 N. Franklin, next door to the Tip Top bar, so consider
showing-and-telling in person at KNYO /next/ week, Friday March 27,
because that's when I'll be there, with alcohol and kleenex and so on
for you, and you can sit or stand ten feet away from the microphone and
shout, and open and close the door with your foot or your sleeve going
both ways if you want to. Or scream and I'll come and touch the door
/for/ you. Who knows, if the weather's nice by the 27th I can just leave
all the doors wide open, why not? And the storefront window display is
positively bathed in almost forty watts of sterilizing ultraviolet light
and presciently has been that way for years.

Ahem. Deadline to email your writing for tonight's show is 7pm. If seven
comes and goes and you're still working on it, send it whenever it's
ready and I'll read it on next week's show in Fort Bragg, or you can
read it on the air yourself then, in person or even over the phone, to
remove any chance of my messing it up somehow and not reading it right.
Come in or call next Friday, see above and below.

Memo of the Air: Good Night Radio is every Friday, 9pm to 5am on 107.7fm
KNYO-LP Fort Bragg, and 105.1fm KMEC-LP Ukiah. Also there and anywhere
else via http://knyo.org and click on Listen. And at any time of any day
or night you can go to https://MemoOfTheAir.wordpress.com and hear last
week's show and shows before that. By Saturday night the recording of
tonight's MOTA will also be there, in the latest post, right on top.

I'll be repeating this: If you listen in Ukiah on KMEC, please email me
if it sounds weird, meaning too loud and distorted. There have been some
problems specifically with the levels regarding MOTA and I'd like to be
ready with info when I talk things over with Sid again about solving
them. He may have already taken care of it; we spoke this week. Also if
you're in Ukiah or elsewhere listening via KMEC or KMECradio.org and if
it sounds less than splendid, try KNYO.org, which Jerry has adjusted the
various ins and outs of to sound pretty good.

At https://MemoOfTheAir.wordpress.com there's a list of
not-necessarily-radio-useful items to absorb any shut-in angst you may
be developing --and there's more all the time (items, angst)-- items
such as, but not necessarily including:

Linked jazz. Hover, move around, zoom, click. There's a huge amount of
info here; imagine the work that went into this:
https://linkedjazz.org/network/

I like watching the dog jump into piles of leaves, though I worry that
one day there'll be something hard inside and /CLONG/, or something
pointy or sharp inside and /YIPE/.

And a sample of arresting pictures from a new picture-book about red
haired women.
