Today, Monday, January 9, at 1 pm, Pacific Time, John Sakowicz and Sid Cooperrider, at KMEC Radio, welcome back State Department veteran, Peter Van Buren. We'll talk about the complex foreign policy issues facing the Trump Administration. In addition, we''ll discuss Van Buren's prescient 2014 book, "Ghosts of Tom Joad, A Story of the 99 Percent," and his forthcoming book, "Hooper's War". 
PETER VAN BUREN 
Van Buren, a 24-year veteran Foreign Service Officer at the State Department, spent part of his career in Iraq. He is author of "We Meant Well: How I Helped Lose the Battle for the Hearts and Minds of the Iraqi People".
