[Kzyxtalk] Critical Thinking vs. Parroting

Critical thinking involves looking things up. At no-spin resources. Like
the National Center for Charitable Statistics here:
http://nccsweb.urban.org
And the Registry of Charitable Trusts here:
http://rct.doj.ca.gov/Verification/Web/Search.aspx?facility=Y
Where you can get information straight from the horse's mouth. But
only if you read it. If I've published any 'distortions' here, I've tried to
identify them as such. Like five years of Form 990s. All of them filed
under penalty of perjury. By authorized MCPB personnel. Who have
since admitted they're distortions. Which is disturbing. But only made
possible by critical thinking.
On the other hand, you've got parroting. Getting information from the
other end of the horse. It's a lot less work. And less risk too. Especially
if you're a programmer at KZYX today. And you'd like to keep your show.
Sincerely,
Scott M. Peterson
