Scott,

The CPB needs to be informed of what you have discovered.

Dear Tim,

Humbug = "someone or something that is not honest or true"

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/humbug

So you're calling _someone_ a liar here. Along with being self-important. But

like Mr./Ms. SM has said before, you need to support your contention. About

exactly _who_ is being the 'self-important humbug'.

As far as I know, I'm the first person to discover MCPB's policy of hiding Form

990s. Printed right on the Form 990s themselves. "No review was or will be

conducted." For five years running. 2010 - 2014. You can see that here:

http://nccsweb.urban.org/communityplatform/nccs/organization/profile/id/680050440/popup/1

You can also see that no audited financial statements were prepared for any

of those years. Right on the Form 990s themselves. Sworn under penalty of

perjury. Which contradicts records that _appear_ to be audited financial

statements on the KZYX website here:

http://www.kzyx.org/index.php/about-us/station-business/mcpb-bylaws-and-financial-statements

That contention is also supported by annual filings with the State. They're

called Registration Renewal Fee forms. You can find them here:

http://rct.doj.ca.gov

Going back to 2008, you'll see MCPB swear -- under penalty of perjury --

that no audited financial statements had been prepared. Feel free to look

at the meeting minutes here:

http://www.kzyx.org/index.php/about-us/station-business/meeting-minutes

and the General Manager Reports here:

http://www.kzyx.org/index.php/about-us/station-business/general-managers-reports

The go back all the way to 2008. And there's no mention of audited financial

statements anywhere. Or Form 990s. Which tends to support my contention.

By my count, MCPB took over a million dollars in grant money from the CPB

with things that _appeared_ to be audited financial statements. But weren't.

If you want to argue against merits here, that's fine. But name-calling isn't

going to accomplish anything.

Sincerely,

Scott M. Peterson

Mendocino
