are assertions of fact that are not true, especially when denigrating 
someone.

In your case, you cannot factually support your contention regarding 
loss of membership. The connection is just conjecture. I suggested a 
straightforward way for you to obtain a verifiable answer that, if what 
you say is true, could be a great boon to the station, but you 
apparently don't really want to know. SM
