Who cares about Stuart's teaching credentials. The facts that concern me are the ones that point to how MCPB is not following CPB regulations, and how this has caused a serious decline in membership.

This is pretty amusing coming from you. I called you on the supposed “facts” that you used to degrade Stuart Campbell as a professor of philosophy. You were wrong and should apologize directly to Stuart. I told you what the facts were and suggested that you look up the credential question yourself so that you would believe it. You didn’t and I wonder why. Are you afraid of admitting to being wrong? Before I posted I took about 10 minutes to find the information to make sure I was correct. I know this is so very hard so here is some help:
http://www.cccregistry.org/news/mqs.pdf
http://extranet.cccco.edu/Portals/1/AA/MinQuals/MinimumQualificationsHandbook2012_2014.pdf
http://www.mycaliforniadegree.com/california-degree-guide/teaching-requirements.html
Read and find out that a teaching credential for community college instruction was terminated 26 years ago. An M. A. degree or higher is required for academic subjects (with some exceptions). Here is Stuarts page at the Santa Rosa J.C.:
http://online.santarosa.edu/homepage/scampbell/
I can’t imagine why you would think that Stuart wasn’t qualified when he is proudly displayed as a part of the faculty. Amazing.
So a spineless nobody does have the facts and you don’t. What do you have against us spineless nobodies anyway when we are the ones with the facts? I know, you and many others here like to denigrate the character of people they don’t agree with. I am too spineless to give you that shameful ammunition. SM

Dear Tim,
I've never branded you before. And I've never branded your work either.
If you disagree with what I say, that's fine. But please produce a fact or two to support your contention.

Mr./Ms. SM is a spineless nobody. Posing as a somebody. With no facts at all.
Supporting anonymous people discredits your work too.
Unless you know who they are -- and won't say. That discredits you.

Dear Mr./Ms. SM,
A professorial tone like this is more effective with letters after one's name. And
perhaps a name.
As far as the 'harassment' allegation, it sounds like you have inside knowledge at
the management
level. And possibly a legal background. Maybe even a law degree. If you've been
dispensing legal
advice to KZYX management, make sure you've got malpractice insurance. And a name
you're not
ashamed to use.
The only person I've seen like that here so far is Peter Kafin. He's an attorney
with an actual name.
Along with a law degree, a license to give legal advice and malpractice insurance.
Who was present
for the 'harassment' you've alleged. He emailed his account of that incident earlier
today. That email
was addressed to many of the people involved here. But only those with names. And he
didn't exactly
come down on your side.
Your comment about all of this 'fumbling around about what is fair or legal or
democratic' gives you
away, Mr./Ms. SM. You're on the wrong side of the facts. The law. And the
Corporation for Public
Broadcasting. But rather than guess. Let's settle this like men. Shall we?
There's a lady I just happen to know. Her name is Helen Mollick. She's the Assistant
Inspector General
for Investigations. Over at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Phone: (202)
879-9616. Email:
hmollick (at) cpb.org . Give her a ring. Or drop her an email. And give your lecture
to her.
If your 'contention' is as strong as you suggest, your troubles are over. Uncle
Sugar will go belly-up
for you and all of your anonymous friends. All you have to do is pick up that phone.
Or start typing.
I dare you.
Sincerely,
Scott M. Peterson
