I don't know if they have received the money yet or not but Shelia's statement makes the most sense. 

The station likes to act like the CPB grant has been going down steadily as if the Republicans are taking the money. The fact is the grant is given by need and it takes two years to process. 

Two years ago the station had a relatively good year so they only got $120k. Last year was a relatively bad year so the grant will be more next year. 

Over the last 10 years it has fluctuated from $100k to $190k. 

The larger grants were given during the time period when KZYX was able to pay off its debt.
