Great work, Dennis. 

This is the crux of the matter: The MCPB Board has ceded all control to to the so-called Executive Director and General Manager. This "executive director" thing is where MCPB started to go sideways and lose its way as a community radio station.

Using that authority, the Board created

Personnel Committees. [among others] 

Later, in a separate policy,

the Board created

​the Program Advisory Committee. 

None of these committees is in operation at this time 
​ and have not been for ​ 
years. 

​As a result of there being no committees, ​ 
all 
​KZYX ​ 
decisions regarding finance, programming and personnel are made by two people: the 
​ KZYX 
GM and the 
​ KZYX Program Director,​ no ​check 
​​

balance

on either of them.
