Your "cold hard facts" are irrelevant. John.  Mary kept that operation 
going for 20 years when no one would step in to help.
  Resume's are useful fictions; Mary's performance is undeniable.
Let's talk about performance instead of your personal opinion about 
someone who has demonstrated operational skills for 25 years.
I speak from appreciation of a job well done.  It might have been 
"different" but not especially better had Mercury descended on the 
programmers throne.
All that responsibility for less than $50g - give us a break from your
