    I have a smorgasbord of interesting material for tonight's show, and 
I'll be at the Franklin Street studio. I have a bunch of cartoons to 
read, and there's the usual Rich Alcott retro radio almanac installment, 
and a disturbing new Alex Bosworth story about art and artists, and I 
have several pieces to read from local writers' books, and there's the 
Announce List material, and I /think/ Austin Williams will be coming by 
to talk about math. I'll be there until at least 3am, reading aloud, 
playing the occasional musical interlude, and then there'll be a 
70-year-old episode of Boston Blackie. They made thousands of them.

    If you can't stay up that late, or if you try to listen on the web 
via knyo.org or via the TuneIn app and something's not right with those 
things --sometimes things go wrong there-- then by the next night, 
Saturday night, I'll have the recording of the show available on my 
weblog. You can play it with one click or you can download and keep it, 
so to jump around in it and skip things that don't interest you or that 
annoy you by teaching you something you don't want to learn right now, 
because life is short.
