Liz,
I agree wholeheartedly.
Case in point:
The Third District Supervisor race is an important one —
and not the time for generic, softball questions.
As an interviewer, Norman always set the tone
for intelligent dialogue,
and is widely respected up here
across all demographic lines.
We've always counted on Norman to put Principles
ahead of Politics in his interviews . . . even if interviewing
a candidate who also happens to sit on the KZYX Board.
It represents a great loss to true democracy
to lose his august voice on the airwaves.
Hopefully, this decision has not been cast in stone.
