You say "local programming content is superb but is being diminished by a commercial attitude." That rings true to me. And your definition of the term (below) is clear enough.
The "commercial attitude" must be replaced by another that "facilitates community development in spirit and practice" That also rings true but I would like to hear more, so please expand on that. I have heard similar things from others who were around the station in its early days.
And you note "we have a lot of discovery coming up in the near future." Yes, I agree again. Everything indicates that we are on the brink of change, of great change and we need a place, a local place, to talk about it as it happens. As you say "KZYX is perhaps the most critical platform for that evolutionary exploration." That is a big compliment and a huge responsibility.
Do others on this list have similar feelings about the "commercial attitude" and what should replace it?
