I'd like to share with you a book of poetry recently released by a friend
of mine, Dave Boles - founder and owner of Cold River Press in Grass
Valley.  It's a moving book in many ways related to stories of mental
health and illness.  Dave wrote these poems in the 1980's when he was
working as an orderly at Napa State Hospital.

I was honored when Dave asked me to write the foreword to this extremely
creative book of poems that he released some 40 years after he wrote them.
