Community Action at Work Requested

~ I have received  a request from Simone  Parris to put out a notice for “Volunteers” 

to come the David Gidley’s property on Sat. October 25th to help “clear piles of things around the land and to work on their compost etc.

Simone will be making some yummy food and treats. It’ll be a nice bonding experience. We would love your help, please invite your friends.” 

~ I was there recently and pitched in to help with a Yurt raising on the property~.”

“It’s not all heavy lifting, we need hands for all kinds of things from delicate details like painting signs and gardening to more physical moving of 

things. We start at 10 and end at 6 PM and we’ll have lunch for everyone who’s coming~."

This is not far from Spirit House ~ come up Simpson Ln and turn R. on Mitchelle Drive ~ go about 1/2 mile and turn R. on Turner Road and go 
another 1/2 approx. mile and L. on Shane Dr. 

As you come down the Shane Dr. hill and start to come up the next hill (it’s a big dip) ~ It’s the third driveway on the right -  after parking walk down the driveway and come over the wooden walking bridge and through the gate to the main house~~~.



  There is something wonderful happening there in terms of community building ~

 ~ I know that we’ve all talked at one time or another about living with like minded people and 

growing and sharing food and resources ~~ That is what is happening at David Gidley’s property and it’s really beautiful~!!!

Also, David has generously offered accommodations for attendees at Spirit House and the feed back has always been so wonderful~.
