[Thespiritexpress] Sequoias of the Sea

In reference to the Kelpfest’s screening of Sequoias of the Sea this last Tuesday, I recommend to anyone who can see it, to do so.  The next screening is at the Fort Ross Harvest Festival on October 18.

The film features our cum-unity and is so inspiring, informative, and well done.  Highlighting  Noyo Center for Marine Science, our Local Pomo Cum-unity, the Noyo Harbor, and many individuals working towards finding the balance of how we tend the planet and extract resources for our people. It looks intelligently at what is needed to restore our oceans ecosystem and  Kelp Forest. I hope the screening happens again here in Fort Bragg.  Maybe if enough folks are interested it could be shown at Spirit House.
