> Music has been an enormous guide in Ed's life, coming in the shape notes of church acapella singing, songs on transistor and antique radios, and cousins who were instrumentalists, songwriters, and singers. Ed has co-written, co-produced, played instruments and sung on 11 musical albums with 2 groups, the WNGC and the Mood Groove, consisting of exceptionally talented musicians in the Sacramento area over the past 45 years. He's been recording music since 1980.
> Ed self-published his only book of poetry to date in 2009 called, "From Cavity's Kitchen to the Bone Comber's Home." He has had poems published in these Cold River Press anthologies: Quiet Rooms 2020; Voices 2022: Fantasies, Demons & Lovers; Voices 2023: Dahlias, Gods & Mermaids; and Voices 2024: Anomalies, Pathologies & Paradise, D.R. Wagner Memorial Issue. Ed will have more of his work included in the upcoming anthology of Voices 2025: Mysticism, Prophecies & Marigolds. Many of Ed's poems written over the past 20 years can be found on this site: https://allpoetry.com/Balldinger.
> Ed is currently working on a collection of his recent poetry which will be published and available in both written and spoken form upon completion sometime in 2025. Last, but not least, Ed and JK Northrup (2 of the WNGC and the Mood Groove dudes) will be releasing a compilation album of the best WNGC and Mood Groove songs from the past 28 years by the middle of 2025. Ed can be contacted by email at balldinger at gmail.com

> David is a poet, singer-songwriter, and guitar player. In previous years, he was a student of Philosophy in Munich, Germany (1973-81) and later a computer programmer at Adobe Systems. He has also dabbled in Permaculture, singing in a choir, acting, directing, and recording engineering. In addition, he is a full-time handyman at home. He has been featured at several Bay Area poetry readings, as well as in Half Moon Bay, Willits, Ukiah, Fort Bragg, Pt. Arena and Covelo. And he was invited by Gordon Black to provide background music for four of the most recent Mendocino Spring Poetry Festivals at the Hill House.
> His publications include 3 volumes of poetry available at Amazon.com (see the author page for David Eugene Partch). Some of his poems appeared in the Fall/Winter 2018-19 edition of Mendocino Arts magazine, as well as other publications. His poetry is very eclectic, covering a broad spectrum of topics (from love to philosophy, politics, environmentalism, nature, etc.) with considerable variation in style and mood always governed by a deep concern for our current state of affairs.
