      Dennis and I have held dear Abe and you in our thoughts and prayers.  Grateful for the surgical and medical team and all who are and will be tending to Abe.  Right now as he is in surgery, blessings to all.  May you be well and confident that he is in the right place at the right time.

morning, Aug 13.
He will be at Stanford at 5:15am for a procedure called the Da Vinci
robotic assisted laproscopic radical prostatectomy or RALP, for removal
of his cancerous prostate. It is a four and 1/2 hour surgery and he will spend the
night at Stanford. If all things go well he should be able to return home
on Thursday.
