The Garden

I worked all my life
to create a garden
that would resemble heaven,

having forgotten that this garden
always was there
waiting for me

	to see it,
	to feel it,
	to smell it,
	to touch it,

and that it would reclaim its rights
to be or not to be
depending on the reality
	I chose to walk through,

a reality only to be found
in each moment
of presence.
