Combined GRI In-person Meeting & Elections 2024 Workshop

Hello GRI Friends and Participants
Join us this Sunday, 10/27 3p-5p, for GRI’s combined in-person, quarterly meeting and third workshop on Elections 2024: Local Issues in Our Local Elections. From the City of Fort Bragg’s lawsuit against Mendocino Railway, to the future of the hospital in Fort Bragg, issues of importance to all residents of Mendocino’s North Coast will be handled by public officials elected on November 5. GRI’s combined in-person meeting, and third Election 2024 Workshop will lay out what is at stake.
Jessica Morsell Haye will discuss the issues from her perspective as a former Fort Bragg City Council member. Paul Garza, President of the Mendocino Coast Health Care District will talk about the critical health care issues on the Coast. There will also be background information on the lawsuits and the future of the Noyo Headlands by George Reinhardt and Jade Tippett of GRI’s Noyo Headlands Working Group
                  You can join in person, or via Zoom on Sunday, October 27 from 3 to 5 in the afternoon, at the Community Center of Mendocino, 998 School Street Mendocino, CA 95460.
                  We will also look at money in our local elections, starting with who or what is supporting the local candidates, and who or what organizations are financing the state propositions, as well as financing national and state political campaigns. Admission is free, donations welcomed.
