We have been with Kemgas for about 20 years. They're easy to work with,
great service, and always in the ballpark for price.  We don't own the tank.
They charge $43/year to rent it, and they fix anything that goes south.  But
yeah, you could save if you were to buy one outright.   - Doug

Hello community.  I just had a way less than satisfying Amerigas experience
transferring propane service into my name.  I won't bother with details, but
I'd like to inform you of pricing.

Delivered prices - these are recently quoted so do your own research

            Amerigas        $5.09
            Thompson     $2.89
            Kemgas                       $3.15
            Suburban          Less than $3.00

            and Amerigas's new customer price:  $3.59 !!

Lets support businesses that are local, or at least have local offices.
