[Thespiritexpress] Bats ~

I fucking love this!

Bats are my very favorite critters. I have dozens of them living in my
eaves. At night I go out on the deck of my A- Frame and turn on the light
up at the top. Within minutes the bugs show up. Then the real show begins!
I’ve stood in the middle of a literal storm of bats, sometimes feeling
their little wings brush up against my face. I’ve rescued several from
attics while working on remodels and such in the Winter. They’re tiny, half
frozen, and scared. I’ve brought them home and put them in my own workshop
up in the rafters where they can be safe.

And I’ve wanted to say “I’m Batman!” since I was six years old.
