Celebrate Winter Solstice
Winter solstice is the time of the longest nights of the year. It is said that the darkest night continues each night for 3 nights, symbolic of the 3 days after the crucifixion before the resurrection of Christ - before the return of the Light. It also mirrors the story of Inanna, Queen of Heaven, going into the underworld to make peace with her sister Ereshkigal, only to be killed and hung on a hook; later to be looked upon favorably by the gods and resurrected as the Queen of Heaven. Also the myth of Pistus Sophia who descends into the world of chaos and makes 13 repentances to the light and then is restored to her higher nature, having purified the realms of chaos below.

The Solstices and Equinoxes are powerful portals of the year for prayers to be heard and answered. There is an alignment between Earth and Cosmos that makes the unseen world ripe for listening and fertile for the seeds of intentions planted in our hearts.

This Winter Solstice we are wrapping up the year 2024, which was filled with so very many planetary alignments that greatly shifted things for many people. Some notable alignments included: the lunar and full solar eclipses in the spring that marked great changes - further opening the window for the return of the Queen of the Heavens to the earth in her properly restored form; also greatly redirecting the physical expression of many light workers. The Summer Solstice, which further opened our hearts and brought to the surface old wounds in order to be healed. In addition, we had Pluto station direct in Aquarius, after a series of retrogrades - anchoring the age of the water bearer, of group consciousness, collaboration, new thinking and paradigm expansion.

This Winter Solstice is in this line of alignments setting us up for a very powerful spring equinox in 2025 and a solar eclipse anticipated to mark the advent of even greater planetary shifts. May we use this winter solstice to dive into the depths of our subconscious and witness whatever forlorn aspects of ourselves are calling for attention. May we sit in the darkness with those parts and love them. May we accept ourselves fully, integrate our shadow - and sing praise to the Light within. For the Light shall return and we shall rise again - shining in the Light of our Divinity.
