 Our prayers are wit Lydia and Dennis! May   Denis' procedure at UCSF with the neurosurgeon be a big success  tomorrow and  may Dennis recover smoothly and swiftly , may both he and Lydia  emerge with renewed strength and health upon returning to the coast, and have many beautiful healthy happy years ahead of them to enjoy  in their beautiful home!So be it, and so it is ! Amen.

~ Update on Dennis at UCSF
A quick update on what has been a very difficult time for Dennis, requiring a lot of courage and fortitude.  Dennis was finally transferred by helicopter at noon from our hospital to UCSF.   He will have yet another CT Scan.  Tomorrow morning at 7 AM the neurosurgeon will drill a few holes in his skull to release blood that has been collecting.  Then he will have a second surgery to cauterize a vein so there will be no more bleeding.  His blood pressure is very high, which they are working on to control.
Dennis is in good spirits, peaceful, and we believe he is in good hands.  It will be such a relief to feel "normal" again.  Ron was there when they bright red helicopter took off in a clear blue sky.My daughter is on her way to Mendocino.  She and I and my dog will drive to UCSF tomorrow, hopefully to see Dennis and we are prepared to stay for however long it takes 'till we can bring him home.
We both very, very much appreciate being close to you and we feel so blessed and grateful.  I t doesn't sound nice for me to say this but please do not respond.  I need to respond to specific, pertinent communication re the logistics etc.   Know that Dennis cherishes you and you are part of his world.  I also have a smart and feisty little dog that has been at the vet's and is on medication and outsmarts me when it comes to making him swallow its medication. 
Hold Dennis in your thoughts and prayers.  Thank you!  (I don't promise but will try to send an update later in a couple of days.)
