[Thespiritexpress] A Hawk, A River, A Bridge, and A Windmill Forest

To my beloved family on the Spirit Express - what a ride! Grateful to be riding along with you all from time to time. These are some reflections of love and gratitude from the high plains of Eastern Montana and the depths of my heart, written in yet another persona of myself, Mojave Todd. Blessings to all on this day of Thanksgiving.~ EdMojave Todd here today with a report at the Yellowstone River in Kinsey, MT. We're gonna pretend to talk about the difference between wranglers and anglers and how they mingle in the midst of mangled angles where geometry classes occur all over this country for reasons still unknown. Now, I'm no nomad in these here parts, but I been wanderin' round about them for 40 years now and then since the most beloved woman I know brought me hereabouts from York, Nebraska back in May of '83 to see where she grew up. I been comin' back with her and our kids ever since. There's a bullet hole in the ceiling of an indoor porch to prove it. Any other remnants of my presence here are speculative at best.
Kicking up the dust of ancestral lands on the high plains is not as lonely as it might sound when done with an honest, dependable partner. As we slide back onto the 59, we see a rare black eagle fence post sitting, as if it had been waiting for us to pass this point for an entire eternity just in time for us to drive back through the newly erected windmill forest in our Dodge Ram Dass Be Here Now Wagon. There are both points of clarity and confusion in this eagle's eye, and as much danger as there appears to be in these pivotal windmill arms rotating where wind space was once uninterrupted, there is also a sense of energy rising over blade tips, a harbinger of change and transformation reaching up into the universal soul power of rebirth, passion, courage and wisdom. What I once believed to be redundant about this part of the earth and sky has become a portal into the divine; a holy of most holy spaces that has given me hope beyond measure, boundless grace, limitless love, and I am eternally grateful.
Here on the tailgate of love there's a mixture of tear salt on a stack of alkaline rocks where our true emotion flows like this river in fluid currents. We offer new supplications into whispy clouds gliding against an azure canvas, whispering our own genuine truths from heart to heart as a sense of openness widens us across the plains we have travelled to get to this point in time and space - here, now, at the base of this river-crossing bridge.
There's an unassigned alignment at destiny's shore: how we choose to be here before we know how to choose; how we embrace our own making before we know how embracing makes us feel; or how we tend to alleviate suffering when it's so easy to cause it. Within this sound synergy, I feel a spiritual spine alignment coming on, having been lead here by a beautiful Broad-Winged Hawk to release anything within me that is not love; to love my neighbor like I love myself; and to bless others I know and have not met, or so I think - unified eye to eye, heart to heart, soul to soul...
