  Restlessness on a Day of Rest  There is always            that need
for something else! Before meditationa cup of coffee maybe, a little something to eat,            a total
clean up of the house would be really good,what about calling a friend for a hike in the forest,            better
check my email first, it’s getting cold maybe I should build a fire            or I really
should go shopping,why
not finish the few dishes
first,            and there is that wall in the bathroom that needs a coat
of paint. . .                         Oh forget it,                        I’ll just vegeout and watch a movie!                                                             *********            Sit down. Take a breath.What’s all the distraction
about,what am I running from?             Is it my need to express, to put down words on the dreaded blank page?             Is it the silence that comeswhen all else disappears?            The emptiness?                                                             **********             Will you sit down.                        Now.What are you really afraid
of?                         It’s that huge responsibility:                        the infinite power to be                                     Me.
